Season of Wonder by RaeAnne Thayne

Season of Wonder was lacking for me. I really hoped it was going to pick up but it didn’t. I haven’t read any of the other Haven Point novels and probably won’t read them.

The characters were under developed just a little bit. I liked then don’t get me wrong they’re good but I was just left not being able to connect to the story.

Dani is trying to start a new life for her and her two daughters. To leave behind her past that she can’t seem to shake. Ruben is her next door neighbor and the son of her boss. Through a series of events, Ruben slowly intertwines himself into Dani and her daughters lives even though Dani continues to try and pull herself away.

My rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
